KEY INFORMATION
Eligibility: Open to anyone.
Entry: Each artist or group can submit only one entry in one category, with a$50 non-refundable entry fee. Withdrawal or failure to deliver after entry incurs a $250 fee.
Voting: Public voting takes place, and voters must register within 10 miles of the Chetek Lakes Area. Voters can cast one vote per piece, and may vote for as many pieces as they wish.
Prizes: At least $1,000 will be distributed. Prizes include Grand Prize, Second, and Third.
Winner Selection: Winners will be determined by public vote and announced in person at the Awards Ceremony on Aug 10, 2025, then via email no later than Aug 11, 2025.
Artwork Sale: Artwork may be listed for sale, with a 15% commission payable to CPAL for sales between July 1 and August 30, 2025.
LIABILITY WAIVER
By my participating in the Beauty Beyond Our Shores contest, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless CPAL, its committee members and volunteers, the venue exhibiting my artwork and its employees concerning all liability for any damages to real and personal property or any loss of life or personal injury that may be sustained in connection with any exhibition of the artist’s work.
All artists are advised to carry their own insurance. Claims for damage or loss during delivery or showing will be the artist’s responsibility.
The artist also agrees to abide by all rules and regulations set by the Chetek Public
Arts League.
AGREEMENT TO PARTICIPATE
Submitting the entry form indicates that you agree with the conditions of entry and exhibit as outlined in this prospectus, that you understand this is NOT a juried competition and entry equals participation, that you will send the entry fee, and that you agree to make your work available and will deliver it to the venue by the date specified. DO NOT submit an entry form if you cannot follow through. Do not double-book your work, commit it to other conflicting exhibitions, or sell it without securing its availability for our exhibit, after submitting to this project.
